Sachi Patel is a Data Engineer who recently received her Master of Science in Data Analytics Engineering at Northeastern University. She specializes in architecting and optimizing end-to-end ETL pipelines, leveraging technologies such as Apache Spark, AWS, and Apache Airflow to ensure reliable, scalable data integration and processing. With a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and Tableau, Sachi transforms raw data into actionable insights—empowering organizations to make data-driven decisions with confidence. Her interests extend into machine learning and deep learning, where she has built and deployed neural networks and predictive models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
Prior to her graduate studies, Sachi earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Gujarat Technological University. She honed her practical skills through a series of industry roles: as a Data Engineer at webcratic LLP she led data cleaning and loading initiatives; as a Python Intern at Axisray she developed SQL-backed analytics tools; and as a Web Crawling Engineer at tender2bid Pvt. Ltd. she automated large-scale data extraction pipelines. On campus at Northeastern, Sachi has also given back as an RSO proctor and lead mentor—guiding peers in problem solving, time management, and data analysis projects.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity for emerging technologies, Sachi thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments. She is passionate about translating complex datasets into compelling stories and robust solutions, and she looks forward to applying her expertise to tackle real-world challenges in data engineering and AI.
Sachi is part of the Humanitarians AI project at Northeastern University and is working with David de Hilster, co-creator of NLP++ on bettering the NLPPlus Python package.
